A cinematographer for more than forty years, Willy Kurant has shot film for some fo the best directors in cinema, from Jean-Luc Godard, on MASCULIN FEMININ (1966), to Orson Welles, on IMMORTAL STORY (1968), to Agnès Varda, on LES CREATURES (1969). The Criterion COllection interviewed Kurant in Paris, in April of 2005.
