A Tune for Laura: David Raksin Remembers
Composer David Raksin (1912-2004) discusses his career in the film industry — with some very interesting recollections about his work with Charlie Chaplin and Arnold Schoenberg — and the five film scores he did for Otto Preminger, including the one he created for LAURA (1944). The interview was conducted by Eckhart Schmidt in January 2004 at Raksin’s home in Van Nuys, California.
