This interview with veteran editor Robert C. Jones on Hal Ashby’s THE LAST DETAIL (1973) is »an enthralling watch and peppered with revealing memories and anecdotes. He initially turned down the offer of working for a director who had the reputation of being a little crazy, but when the original editor stumbled and he was asked to come in again, he was blown away by the truth and energy of the footage and immediately jumped on board.
